From August 12 to 15, the partnership meeting evaluate project realization, as well as the challenges encountered during the implementation of the project.

From 16 to 17 May, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek hosted the International Conference on Modernization of Higher Education in the interests of Food Production and Processing Industry, where teachers from two Tajik higher educational institutions together with their Kyrgyz colleagues talked about the work undertaken to modernize the curriculum, considering the interests of food production and processing industries.

A joint meeting of partners and evaluation of the implementation of the HECAFS project takes place from May 13 to 15 in Bishkek.

On May 31st , 2018 at KSTU named after I. Razakova a regular working meeting of  Erasmus + "Higher Education for Food Systems and Standards in Central Asia" (HECAFS), project partners was held.  This project brings together six universities from Poland, Latvia, Lithuania, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Central Asian  employers` associations.

On May 28-29, 2018, at the Khujand Polytechnic Institute of the Tajik Technical University named after academic M.S.Osimi, (KPITTU) a national working meeting was conducted in order to present the syllabus and of the project activities result. The Participants of the meeting were partner organizations, representatives of manufacturers and processers of Tajikstandart, teachers of universities of Tajikistan, Lithuania, Poland.

We offer for your reference the “Modernised Study Programmes Quality Assurance and Assessment Plan”, elaborated in the framework of the HECAFS project.

A regional seminar on "Mechanisms and tools for improving curricula to increase the competitiveness of food industry enterprises will be held on May 15, 2018 at the Kyrgyz Economic University named after M.Ryskulbekov.

The Agreement on Cooperation between the Latvian University of Agriculture (LLU) and the National Association of Small and Medium Business of Tajikistan (NASMB) was signed in the end of September 2017, in Jelgava, Latvia, within the framework of the visit of Tajik delegation of entrepreneurs and teachers of national universities (as KPITTU named after Academician M.Osimi and TAU named after S.Shotemur.

On July 5, 2017, the Round table on presentation of the Analysis of the Situation in Higher Education, Production and Processing of Food Products Related to Quality and Security Issues in Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan was held in Dushanbe.

Two workshops were held within the project HECAFS for definition of the study modules to be developed and selection of bachelor and master level study programmes they will be integrated. The first event was held on May 11-13, 2017 in Khujand (Tajikistan), the second on May 15-18, 2017 in Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan).
